Chief hospital corpsman (kor-man) Tristan Mendoza, United States Navy, is originally from Wagoner, Oklahoma, and has earned a master of Business Administration from American military university. In his 14 years on active duty, he has been stationed in Portsmouth, (ports-muth) Virginia, and Naples, Italy before coming to San Diego. He has completed deployments on the hospital ship USN’s Mercy as well as on the aircraft carrier USN Abraham Lincoln.
Chief petty officer Mendoza and his wife, Kaylee, will celebrate their fifteenth anniversary in October, and they have three children: sons Tripp and Madden and daughter Grier. They are active in the community and support Make-A-Wish and Little Free Libraries.
