We were proud to recognize Staff Sergeant Arturo Del Toro and his family as Liberty Military Housing’s Hero of the Match, honoring a military family whose service extends far beyond the field.
Originally from McAllen, Texas, Staff Sergeant Del Toro is a graduate of McAllen Memorial High School. In nearly fourteen years of service with the United States Marine Corps, he has been stationed in North Carolina, at Camp Pendleton, and at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego. He is currently serving at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, and has completed a deployment to the Middle East in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
Staff Sergeant Del Toro has been married to his wife, Jessica, for eleven years. Together, they are raising four children —Vai, Janelle, Aria, and Aiden—and we’re grateful to recognize the care, commitment, and resilience their family brings to the community. Jessica also serves as a school social worker at Kempton Literacy Academy, where she is known for her volunteer efforts and advocacy.
